“National Unplugged Day” is March 1st and 2nd…but it’s going to be a month long challenge in my household!

This is an old time classic and your kids are going to get seriously into it. It is for ages 4 and up and the instruction cards all go based off the colors, so no reading required. The first person to stack their cup in the correct color-coded order and ring the bell wins!

RING TOSS HAT
There is nothing more adorable for the springtime than this bunny-ear inflatable ring toss hat. It is so simple to put together, it comes with an air-pump, and the kids will be distracted for hours! I like to think of this game as a great way to get them off the couch and on their feet.

GIANT UNO
UNO is a favorite in my household because we’ve been playing it with the kids for years. It is really great for all ages and this UNO game in particular has a little more fun-factor to it since the cards are giant! It helps add some pizzazz to a game we all know and love.

LETTERS FOR LOVED ONES
What better way to truly unplug than by spending your time physically putting pen to paper, the good old fashioned way. You can write letters to friends, family, or my personal favorite: letters to myself. I like writing out goals and aspirations for my future-self and putting it in a drawer, hiding it away and hoping that by the time I find it, I will have achieved what I set out to.

“I’ve Loved You Since Forever”
This is a personal favorite of mine. Hoda Kotb’s book, “I’ve Loved You Since Forever” is a great read for you and your younger children. It is truly a heartwarming story that is perfect for your family.
