I’m going to show you how to take things you have laying around your house and turn them into an awesome last minute Halloween costume! These costumes are super easy to throw together and they still look amazing…we’ve got kids, dogs, and adults!
DEVIOUS DEVIL
-Red Shirt
-Red Leggings or Shorts
-Red Eyeshadow
PITCH FORK
Pitch Fork
-Paper Towel Rolls
-Red Construction Paper
-Broom
-Red Duct tape or Red Paint
-Cardboard box
For the pitchfork, I just used cardboard, duct tape, a broom, and some empty paper towel rolls! I constructed the paper towel rolls to look like the “spears” and used the broom to give It the shape of the pitch fork!
DEVIL HORNS
Devil Horns
-Headband
-Red Duct tape or Red Paint
-Tinfoil
-Yarn
These devil horns are so simple! You make the shape of the horn out of tinfoil, wrap It in yarn, paint It red and then attach It to a red headband! They will look so great on your kid and it’s comfortable to wear.
SPIDER DOG
I just used pipe cleaners to make Edie’s spider legs! I attached them to her collar and since she’s so small we put It around her waist. Then Edie’s dog walker was dressed up as a spider web courtesy of the leftover spider web decor from the front yard and some fabulous eyeliner to make a web on his cheek!
FORK IN THE ROAD
-Black Shirt
-Black Leggings
-Yellow Duct Tape
-Plastic Fork
This one is for the lovers of puns! I grabbed leggings and a shirt from my daughters closet and this costume took literally 5 minutes to make. Also the duct tape comes off the clothing so easily and doesn’t leave any marks!
WATCH DOG
-Cardboard Boxes
-Black Paint
-White Paint
-Black Marker
-Dog Harness
-Velcro
My dog had no issues with this costume because I used Velcro to attach It to his harness! He didn’t even notice it.
MINECRAFT STEVE
-Cardboard Boxes
-Paint
Minecraft Steve is definitely for those of you that like to paint! The costume itself isn’t hard to put together, just use some old cardboard boxes…you can even use a wine box for the head! Then pull out the paints and you’ve got Steve!
‘PUP’ ARAZZI
-Celebrity Headshots
-Dog Sweater or Harness
This costume was probably my favorite because Indy looks SO adorable! All you need are some headshots of celebrities then glue them to an old dog sweater or harness! If you have enough time and want to go over the top, make a little camera out of cardboard.
