USA LAYERED SHOTS
This adult delight from Mix that Drink will kick off the Fourth of July with a bang! This layered beverage is fun and easy to make. Start with grenadine on the bottom, then slowly layer with blue curaçao and then the vodka. For the vodka I used Stateside because it is made in Philadelphia!
KIDS HYDRATION STATION
This is SO simple and fun for the kids! Using two large drink jugs, I filled them with blue and red Gatorade, then I used blue and white paper straws with my mason jars to make sure this drink doubled as decor! The kids also love having a colorful drink station.
STAR SPANGLED SNACKS
Firecracker Popcorn
Ingredients:
Popcorn
Red Candy Melts
Blue Candy Melts
Red Hots
Method:
To make this popcorn you melt the red and blue candy melts separately. You take your popcorn and also separate it into two piles, coating one pile with the red candy melts, the other with the blue candy melts. Then you let them sit for about 10 minutes before tossing them all together and adding Red Hots for that extra Firecracker kick!
Flag Fruit Tray
Ingredients:
Strawberries
Raspberries
White Chocolate covered Pretzels
Blueberries
Method:
For this flag fruit tray I alternated between strawberries, raspberries, and white chocolate covered pretzels to make the tray look like the stripes on the flag. Then, I used blueberries to resemble the stars. This is a TOTAL hit!
